Show 75 - Playlist 10/20/2013

An extended hiatus without much justification. Just lolling the summer away feeling permanent oldness setting in and wondering how to deal with it. Never stopped listening to the music, I just didn't get the energy to put a show together until this past Friday when I kept hearing tracks which got me feeling about how the music was prompting me to unwind, to ponder and to forget the minutia. Little things piling up in the corner of my mind, like sand in my crankcase. And it finally dawned on me one morning when I heard Jason Molina on the speakers as I got to work. I sat down with a little coffee and watched everyone digging the tune, but none of my buds had ever seen Jason play, and most really didn't know a dam thing about him except the tune was raw and soothing at the same time. Show 75 is just soothing and how can that be bad? [133 minutes, 127.9 mb, 128kbps]
